London-based music producer Fred again.. teamed up with American rapper Lil Yachty and London-based electronic music duo Overmono to release a new song “stayinit” on February 28, 2024.
Fred again.., Lil Yachty, Overmono first performed the song in New York earlier this month.
The song is the follow-up to the release of “leavemealone” with Baby Keem last December.
The track was written by Boo, Ed Russell, Fred again.., Miles Park McCollum, and Tom Russell. Produced by Boo, Fred again.., and Joy, Overmono.
The accompanying music video was directed by Uncanny.
Fred again.. said of the song, “We haven't done a video in ages but I thought it would be nice to try and capture the moment the yachty hears this song on a properrrr system for the first time! Like I'm pretty sure that before this he might have only heard it thru his phone lol. And this tune is obviously builtttt for rooms and sound like this.
