  • Boyce Avenue Covers Alice Deejay's “Better Off Alone”

  • Sarasota-based cover band Boyce Avenue, consisting of Alejandro Luis Manzano (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Fabian Rafael Manzano (lead guitar/backing vocals) and Daniel Enrique Manzano (bass/backing vocals), premiered a cover of Dutch Eurodance-Vocal trance project Alice Deejay's “Better Off Alone” on YouTube on February 18, 2024.

The original version of the song was released by Alice Deejay from their debut album “Who Needs Guitars Anyway?” in 1998.
Initially, the song was released as an instrumental track in 1997, but later releases of the track included vocals by Judith Pronk.
The track was written by Sebastiaan Molijn and Eelke Kalberg. The song reached No. 2 on the UK Singles chart.
Boyce Avenue said of the song, “We chose to cover this song because of its timeless appeal and the opportunity to infuse it with our signature acoustic style, creating a rendition that both honors the original and offers a new experience for our fans.”
