  • Calvin Harris Premieres New Song “Lovers In A Past Life” with Rag'n'Bone Man on BBC Radio 1

  • Scottish DJ Calvin Harris premiered a new song “Lovers In A Past Life” on BBC Radio 1's Dance Party with Danny Howard on February 16, 2024.

This time, he teamed up with British singer-songwriter Rag'n'Bone Man again on the track.
This marks their second collaboration following the 2019 single “Giant”.
The track was written by Adam Wiles, Andrew Watt, Cleo Tighe, Jon Green, and Rory Graham. Produced by Calvin Harris and Andrew Watt.
Calvin Harris told Danny Howard about what inspired the song, “I think generally it was like the music from the 60s when the Beatles started getting into sitars and all that kind of stuff, and they're the Eagles and all that. There were before chance existed there was a classical composer that basically got ripped off a lot by all these all the other 90s trans people. I like less than that. That guy told me I won't listen to like trees, dance music. And get back there. Because that's how you're going to do something that sounds even a little bit original.”
  • Calvin Harris also hopes to collaborate with Florence + The Machine next. He said, “I've been trying to get a hold of Florence for a while. Obviously, I'm seeing what speaks to me seeing who is up for it. It's something materializes when it's exciting always offering.”
Calvin Harris and Rag'n'Bone Man performed the song on The Graham Norton Show.
