London-based singer-songwriter Jess Glynne has announced that her third album “JESS” will be released on April 26, 2024.
The new album is her first LP in six years since the 2018 album “Always In Between” and comprises a 15-track.
She told BBC News about the album, “I want the album to tell a story about vulnerability and power, being brave, showing all sides to who I am. I want it to be unapologetic.”
From the album, she released a brand new song “Enough” on February 16, 2024.
It was written by DyoGreg Kurstin, Janée “Jin Jin” Bennett, Jess Glynne. Knox Brown, and P2J. Produced by Greg Kurstin, Knox Brown, and P2J.
Jess Glynne shared on social media, “I wrote Enough back in 2020 where I was given a space to feel safe, vulnerable and worthy. I hope this song provides an element of strength, be that hope or just a reminder that you're not alone and you are Enough.”- Jess Glynne said of the song, “Enough is the first song that I knew was 100% going on the album. I wrote it in 2020 when I was going through a lot in my life. Everyone had been through it that year, and I was heavily hit by a feeling of insecurity and lack of self-worth. I was going through a lot of changes personally and professionally and my confidence had been really set back. As soon as we started writing, I was reminded in that moment, by the people in the room, that I am good enough and I am so proud of how far I have come. I've paid my dues, I've grafted and I'm not going back to ever letting anyone make me feel like I'm not good enough ever again. I hope others manage to feel hope and gain the same strength from it that I do – we are all Enough and there's no going back to feeling otherwise. It was then that I knew in my gut by the way this song made me feel, this had to be the first single from my new album.”
