Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Owl City Covers Augustana's “Boston”
Back in March 2023, American singer-songwriter Adam Young, aka Owl City released his seventh studio album “Coco Moon” for the first time in five years.
A years later, he will released a deluxe edition of the album on March 22, 2024.
The deluxe edition comprises a 17-track, including the original 11 songs, two new songs, and 4 new versions such as “Adam, Check Please (Up North Version)”, “Under The Circus Lights (Live)”, “The Tornado (Instrumental)”, and “Dinosaur Park (Instrumental)”.
From the deluxe edition, he unveiled a cover of American rock band Augustana's “Boston” on February 9, 2024.
The track was written by Daniel Layus and produced by Owl City.
The original version of the song was released by Augustana from their debut album “All the Stars and Boulevards” in 2005.- AUGUSTANA will be opening for Owl City's “To The Moon Deluxe Tour” in March and April in the US.
Owl City shared on social media, “I can't wait to tour with Augustana next month. My version of 'Boston' is out now. Immensely grateful to Daniel Layus // AUGUSTANA for playing all of these shows on this tour with me. Cannot believe I get to watch from side-stage every night. So cool for me. Thank you, Dan.”
The tour kicks off at The Ritz in Raleigh, NC on March 21 and will conclude at House of Blues Cleveland Cleveland, OH on April 14, 2024.
