Margo Raats Releases Debut Song “I Wish I Was The Moon”
London-based Belgian singer-songwriter Margo Raats has released her debut song “I Wish I Was The Moon”.
The song will appear on her upcoming debut EP “Paper Paradise”, which is expected to be released in 2024.
“I feel like the EP is a kaleidoscope with a lot of sounds and worlds,” Margo Raats said of the EP. “I would honestly love it if people find a little bit of themselves in it.”
The song received its first play during BBC Radio 1's Future Artists with Jack Saunders.
It was written by Margo Raats and Pascal Jadot. Produced by Margo Raats, Pascal Jadot, and Daniel Hylton Nuamah.
Margo Raats said of the song, “I wish I was the moon is an honest, self-reflective song about feeling alienated from the world and wanting to be a light for others. The song reflects emotions of self-doubt and how they combine with the struggles of the current world we live in affecting our love relationships.”
