Shygirl Premieres New Song “thicc” featuring Cosha on BBC Radio 1
London-based rapper Shygirl premiered a new song “thicc” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
This time, she temed up with Irish singer-songwriter pm">Cosha on the track.
The song is her first music since the deluxe edition of her debut album “Nymph”.
The track was written by Shygirl and Karma Kid. Produced by Karma Kid znd Mark Ralph. The music video was directed by Jake Erland.
Shygirl said of the song in a press release, “[This was] originally a song we'd made around the same time as some of the album tracks but I decided to hold this one back. I've enjoyed teasing this one at festivals and shows while still in demo mode for over a year already with the idea of somehow infusing the energy of the crowd into this final version of the song—'Thicc' is fun and carefree and definitely a tease—all the classic traits of club shy infused into one track.”- She tole about the collaboration with Cosha, “I love her so much. She's honestly fast. You'll see her influence, you know throughout my journey. Even with the album's before we went on so much together on this one, I really just wanted that like fun energy I feel like question for perfect vocals for that she really lifts me up personally and like any kind of stuff the moment that you need it but it's like the sweet spot.”
