Luna Shadows Returns With New Song “witches' brew”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Luna Shadows returned with a new song “witches' brew” on October 27, 2023.
The song is her first music in two years since the 2021 debut album “Digital Pacific”.
Also, the song is the first single off of her upcoming sophomore album, which is expected to be released in 2024.
She will be revealing her new singles and full album tracklist over the course of several months
The track was written and produced by Luna Shadows and Bradley Hale.
The accompanying music video was directed by Luna Shadows herself.
“'Witches' Brew’ is a diary entry from rock bottom,” Luna Shadows said of the song. “A soundtrack companion to what felt like an insurmountable depressive episode - specifically, in my case, coping with premenstrual depression & anxiety (PMDD).“- She continued, “It’s from a moment where I felt like I would never again have the capacity to experience joy like I would never again see the sun. While I’m in it, I imagine the feeling will go on forever — until the light slowly appears, and I recognise that this darkness is part of a cycle that will eventually come to a close.”
