PNAU & Empire of the Sun Team Up for New Song “AEIOU”
Australian electro-pop trio PNAU teamed up with Australian electronic music duo Empire of the Sun to release a new song “AEIOU” on October 13, 2023.
This marks the first collaboration between PNAU and Empire of the Sun.
For PNAU, the song is the follow-up to “Stars” with American singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha, which was released back in May, and will appear on their upcoming sixth studio album “Hyperbolic”, which is expected to be released in early 2024.
While, for Empire Of The Sun, the track is the first new music in seven years.
The track was written by Nicholas Littlemore, Peter Mayes, Sam Littlemore, Luke Steele, Richard Boardman, and Pablo Bowman. Produced by PNAU.
PNAU's Nicholas Littlemore said of the song, “This is a dream record for us. We've had the idea of a vowels-based song way back before we met Elton, but it never came together until now. It turns out it was worth the wait. And in great style we finally present a collaboration with Empire of the Sun! The accompanying music video was directed by Kuba Matyka and Kamila Staszczyszyn.
