Chasing Kites Releases New Song “Late Night”
Bristol-based indie-rock band Chasing Kites, consisting of Matt Donnelly (vocals/guitar), James Hunt (drums), Liam Hope (guitar) and Nathan Price (bass), released a new song “Late Night” on September 22, 2023.
Chasing Kites shared on social media, “This is perhaps our best release yet and we are so proud to finally share it.”
The song is the second single of 2023, following “Two Towns” released back in May.
The track was written by Chasing Kites, and produced by Sam Winfield of Studio 91, who also produced the previous song “Two Towns”.
The band crafted a distinct sound with transparent guitar riffs, capturing the complexity of the heart.
The band vocalist and lyricist Matt Donnelly told Occhi Magazine about the song, “Late Night is a conversational depiction of a night out in which two characters attempt to confirm that their romantic interest in one another is reciprocated.”
Chasing Kites will support The Kairos' “No Kairo No Party” UK tour. The band will perform at The Crown in Bristol on October 19, 2023.
