poptropicaslutz! Announces Debut Album “Face For The Radio”, Shares New Song “What Would You Do To Get Ahead(line)?”
Long Island-based alt-pop duo poptropicaslutz!, consisting of Nick Crawford and Christian Cicillia, has announced their debut album “Face For The Radio” will be released on October 13, 2023 via Epitaph Records.
The album comprises 11-track, with guest appearances from PmBata and Magnolia Park.
It is sonically and thematically their most cohesive collection of songs, crafted and conceptualized over the course of a year with many studio sessions throughout that timeframe.
The duo said, “Having a 'face for the radio' has historically described those better fit for something else….those setup for success, but not in their own lane. At times, that’s’ been us, but not anymore.”
From the album, the duo unveiled the first single called “What Would You Do To Get Ahead(line)?” on July 10, 2023.
The track was written by Nick Crawford, Christian Cicilia, and kodeblooded who also produced it.
The duo said of the song, “Whether it’s catching eyes or spreading lies, we’re in it to win it by whatever means necessary. Come pick apart our new single or put your money where your mouth is and show us what lengths you’d go to to make a name for yourself.”- source : Apple Music
