Norwegian singer-songwriter Victoria Nadine released a new song “Summer Rain” along with a music video on June 16, 2023.
The song is her third single of 2023, following “Saw It Coming” and “Happy Tears”.
The track was written by Victoria Karlskås Andersen, Dag Holtan-Hartwig, and Halvor Folstad. Produced by Skinny Days.
The accompanying video was directed by Alexa Cha, who filmed in Los Angeles.
“When I wrote Summer Rain with Skinny Days, we all felt really good. We quickly realized that this song conveys summer feelings and the feeling of a summer flirtation,” Victoria Nadine said of the song. “At the time, I wasn't in a relationship and wanted to write a song about not getting too caught up in love and just taking it as it comes. I've always been someone who thinks too much and plans everything down to the last detail, but for once I felt the urge to let go of control and live life more spontaneously. Just live in the moment and let the butterflies in your stomach run wild without worrying about how or if it will end. It's a feeling I haven't experienced that often.
