  • A R I Z O N A Releases New Album “A R I Z O N A”

  • American electro-pop band A R I Z O N A, consisting of Zachary Charles (lead vocals), Nathan Esquite (guitar) and David Labuguen (keyboards), released their self-titled third studio album on May 12, 2023 via Elektra Records.

The album is their first body of work in four years since the 2019 album “Asylum”.
Also, it is the first album under their new label Fueled By Ramen, who signed to the band back in February.
The band shared on social media, “It's been a long time coming... and it's finally here. Album 3. We named it after ourselves. Lol but seriously we want to thank you for your patience with us. This album took us from touring, through a pandemic, and out the other side.. so many things happened in the time it took to make this - we poured our hearts and souls into this one in a way we never have before. We hope it gives you the same light it gave to us in the ups and downs of the last few years.”
The album comprises 12-track, produced by PJ Bianco and A R I Z O N A, written by David Labuguen, IIsey Juber, Jake Torrey, Jonny Price, Nate Cyphert, Nathan Esquite, PJ Bianco and Zachary Hannah.
  • The band frontman Zachary Charles said of the album, “The true tests and trials of nature are often alienating experiences, which we all face from time to time. What's more uncommon is to find yourself on a journey to hell and back together with a whole world. What we've been calling Album Three, otherwise our newest self-titled album, isn't a story as much as it is a collection of vignettes crafted over a few of our most individually and generationally challenging years to date that happen upon a theme: Good and bad times have happened and will continue to, and only by being present for them both will we gain anything, if only perspective, from either.”

  • The band explained about some tracks for the album.

    “Die For A Night”
Zachary Charles said, “Die For A Night is one of the tracks we had some of the most fun with on the new album. There's a little bit of tongue-in-cheek storytelling in the lyrics, and overall the track was just an absolute blast to produce. We have a deep love for dance music and tried to incorporate that a lot on this album where we could in our own way, and this is one of those records.”

    “Moving On”
Nathan Esquite said, “I just turned 31, and 13-year-old me couldn't be prouder knowing that we're releasing our new single 'Moving On' with Fueled By Ramen! It's a dream come true to be signed with a label that has been so impactful in my life.”
David Labuguen said, “'Moving On' is our first single since 2019 and embodies what the past four years have been like – dancing and crying through all the ups and downs of life, love, work, and uncertainty. The video symbolizes what A R I Z O N A means for us, and what we hope it can be for other people: A place where misfits and outcasts can belong. A safe space for all of our humanity. A beacon of hope for everyone who wants to give up and feels like they can't keep going – we'll be alright if we keep moving on.”
