Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Born74 & Onj Team Up for New EP “Mind Vibrations”
Bristol-based music producer Andrew Nicholas, aka Born74 and London-based pianist Andre Louis, aka Onj teamed up to release a new Jazz-funk EP “Mind Vibrations”.
The EP comprises 4-track, written by Andre Louis and Andrew Nicholas.
The project symbolises connection through music, particularly celebrating the coming together of creative minds through the pandemic, Andrew Nicholas explains that through this time he used “the digital world to connect people and share ideas”.
The synergic collaboration came about when Andrew Nicholas reached out to Andre Louis with his ideas.
Andrew Nicholas describes Andre Louis as a “teacher and guiding spirit” with his “ability to just 'know' what I'm hoping to hear and express that through his playing. His creativity knows no bounds.”
Andre Louis said, “I liked it from the first time I heard where he was going... I believe we make a great team.”
Andrew Nicholas expands on the palpable chemistry between the artists, “a project like this is meant to get you up and moving, if the musicians aren't having fun, it will be incredibly obvious from the outset.”- source : Apple Music
