Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Big Time Rush Releases New Song “Waves”
American pop group Big Time Rush, consisting of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos PenaVega and Logan Henderson, released the second single called “Waves” from their upcoming fourth studio album “Another Life” on May 3, 2023.
The song follows up “Can't Get Enough”, which was released back in February.
It was written by Carlos PenaVega, James Maslow, Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson, Tyler Shamy, and Will Ventres who also produced the track.
The accompanying music video was directed by Jade Ehlers.
“’Waves’ started with a little melody saved on a voice memo,” the band said of the song. “That idea was then taken to the studio and fleshed out to later become the nostalgic powerhouse that nods to the early 2000’s and is a great illustration of how sometimes the smallest ideas can make the biggest waves.”- The new album “Another Life” is set to be released on June 9, 2023 via BMG.
The album comprises 10-track, produced by Cut&Dry, Bryan Todd, Will Ventres, Nicholas Furlong, and Maffio.
It is their first album in a decade since the 2013 album “24/Seven” and is also the first album under their new label. -
