Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ AJR Releases New Song “The Dumb Song”
American alt-pop trio AJR, consisting of Adam Met (bass), Jack Met (vocals) and Ryan Met (keyboards), released a new song “The Dumb Song” on April 21, 2023.
The song will appear on their upcoming fifth studio album “TMM”, which is expected to be released in 2023.
The album is the first project in two years since the 2021 album “OK Orchestra”.
The track was written by Adam Met, Jack Met, and Ryan Met. Produced by Ryan Met.
AJR shared on social media, “Living in a weird time in our world where it feels like if we're not posting, we don't exist. We extremely exist. We love you guys, we're in the middle of creating the biggest tour we've ever announced, the TMM album, and scoring Harold & the Purple Crayon Broadway show. Keeping our heads down and working on some of our favorite material we've ever written. 🎻🎺”
The band continued, “We captured the last year and a half, every second it takes to create a song from start to finish. The Dumb Song is out tonight at midnight, video tmrw at 10am ET. See you there.”- source : Apple Music
