Ellie Goulding Releases Four New Songs “Midnight Dreams”, “Cure for Love”, “Higher Than Heaven” & “Love Goes On”
British singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding released four new songs “Midnight Dreams”, “Cure for Love”, “Higher Than Heaven” and “Love Goes On” from her upcoming fifth studio album “Higher Than Heaven” on March 31, 2023.
“Midnight Dreams” was written by Ellie Goulding, Glen Garth, Phil Garth, Stephen Kozmeniuk, and Trey Campbell.
“Cure for Love” was written by Ellie Goulding, Thomas Mann, Anthony Rossomando, and Andrew Wells.
“Higher Than Heaven” was written by Ellie Goulding, Glen Garth, Phil Garth, Brandon Campbell, and Stephen Kozmeniuk.
“Love Goes On” was written by Ellie Goulding, and Greg Kurstin.
The new album comprises 11-track (deluxe edition 16-track), featuring guest appearance from American rapper Big Sean.
Initially, the album was supposed to be released on February 3rd, but two postponements announced, and finally the album is set to be released on April 7, 2023.
Ellie Goulding told RollingStone about the album, “In the best possible way, this album wasn’t taken from personal experiences, and it was such a relief and really refreshing to not be sitting in the studio going through all the things that happened to me and affected me. Because I feel things very deeply. I always have. It’s the least personal album, but I think it’s the best album because I got to just explore other things about myself. I just really, really enjoy writing, really enjoy being a singer.”- She said of the release date, “As you know, making these products as green as possible is incredibly important to me so we've worked really hard to stick to that promise. As a result & due to delays in sourcing these products, we have to push back the release ever so slightly to April 7 just so we can get these beautiful products to you as soon as humanly possible.”
Ellie Goulding embarks on the Higher Than Heaven Tour in Europe and the UK. The tour kicks off at 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin on October 16, 2023.
