Victoria Monét Returns With New Song “Smoke” featuring Lucky Daye
American singer-songwriter Victoria Monét returned with a new song “Smoke” on March 24, 2023.
She joined forces with American singer-songwriter Lucky Daye for the song.
The track is the first single off of her upcoming album “Jaguar II”, which is expected to be release 2023.
It was written by Timothy Murdock Suby, Johann Deterville, Dernst Emile II, and David Brown. Produced by Dernst Emile II, Tim Suby, and Yogi.
The accompanying music video was directed by BAMBI.
“'Smoke' is the beginning of a new era for me! Exhaling the old and inhaling the new.” Victoria Monét said of the song in a statement. “I am also really happy that this release is with collaborators I consider family! I can't wait to elevate. I want all the smoke!”
The new album is a sequel to the 2020 album “Jaguar”, and is the first project under her new label RCA Records.
