beachtown Announces “UNSAYABLE”, Shares New Song “Unsure”
London-based alt-pop duo beachtown, consisting of Zaine Masoliver and Fred Cowan, announced their upcoming second EP “UNSAYABLE” would be released on May 12, 2023 via Young Poet.
The EP comprises 4-track. It is their first project in two years since the 2021 debut EP “Homesick”.
From the EP, the duo unveiled the second single called “Unsure” on March 3, 2023, following “Toybox”.
The track was written by Fred Cowan, Ondrej Novotny, Rupert Lyddon and Zaine Mosoliver.
Zaine Masoliver said of the song, “Unsure to me is about the feeling of mentally not being on top of things; thinking and daydreaming - which I feel I might do a bit too much (unconsciously of course). It's the realisation that the people you're with or the situation you're in isn't right for you and looking for that opening… being in the moment and rejecting mundanity.”- Photo by Rowan Bruce
