British DJ Sigala teamed up with Italian DJs Gabry Ponte and Alex Gaudino to release a new song “Rely On Me” on November 11, 2022.
The song will appear on Sigala's upcoming sophomore album “Every Cloud”, which is set to be released on March 3, 2023.
It was written by Sigala, Clementine Douglas, Tim Powell, Giacomo Uber, Elvira Citro, Ann Lee, Dhany, Paul Sears, Marco Soncini and Alfredo Larry Pignagnoli.
Produced by Sigala, Gabry Ponte, Alex Gaudino and Giacomo Uber. Elvira Citro joined in the song as guest vocals.
The track sampled British-Italian singer-songwriter Ann Lee's “2 Times”, which was released from her debut album “Dreams” in 1999.
Sigala said of the song, “'Rely On Me' is another one that's based on a cheeky sample, a song called '2 Times', which was big in the late 90's. Alex came up with it – he's famous for sampling songs before it was really a thing, going back to 'Destination Calabria' and some of his other huge tunes.”- Gabry Ponte said, “Working on this track together was simply amazing.
