Norwegian DJ Kygo and American DJ Gryffin teamed up to release a new song “Woke Up In Love” on September 9, 2022.
This time, both DJs worked with British singer-songwriter Calum Scott on the track.
Kygo first performed the song at his show in Mexico back in July. But at that time, a vocalist was unknown.
The track was written by Kygo, Gryffin, Calum Scott, Joe Taylor, Nathan Nicholson and Sam Gray. Produced by Kygo and Gryffin.
For Kygo, the song follows up two collaborative songs “Never Really Loved Me” and “Lost Without You” with Australian singer-songwriter Dean Lewis.
While, Gryffin joined in the song after two collaborative songs "Reckless" with MØ and "Colors" with Blanke and Eyelar.
Also, the song will appear on Gryffin's upcoming sophomore album “Alive”.
For Calum Scott, the single is his first collaboration after his sophomore album “Bridges”, which was released back in June.
The artwork of the single was changed from featuring two kids to Kygo and Gryffin.
