Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Gone Stereo Releases Two New Songs “Don't Think I Forgot About You” & “Taste of This”
Long Island NY-based pop-punk band Gone Stereo, consisting of Matty Lupinacci (vocals), Chris Lynam (guitar), Mike Drinkwalter (bass), and Jay Howard (drums), released Two new songs “Don't Think I Forgot About You” and “Taste of This” on June 3, 2022.
This marks the first release on newly relaunched Negative Progression Records.
Two songs were written by Matty Lupinacci, Jayson Howard, Christopher Lynam and Michael DrInkwalter.
The band recorded the songs with John Naclerio at Nada Studios.
The band frontman Matty Lupinacci said of “Don't Think I Forgot About You”, “Back in 2010, I was going through some trying times including a bad break up. Recently, I found a dusty old notebook while going through my garage and I took what was on those pages to create the lyrics for 'Don't Think I Forgot About You.'”
He added about “Taste of This”, “When I first started talking to Matty about playing music together, he sent me some demos and immediately upon hearing 'Taste of This,' a huge smile was painted across my face. The riff, the subject matter, the melodies were all right in the wheelhouse of the music that I've loved since I was 13. I am really stoked on that song!”- ilVMI4HCFPM
