Blue Announces New Album “Heart & Soul”, Premieres New Song “Haven't Found You Yet” on BBC Radio 2
- British pop band Blue, consisting of Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe, is back. The band premiered a new song “Haven't Found You Yet” on BBC Radio 2 The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show.
It is their first music in seven years since the 2015 album “Colours”.
The song is the first single off of their upcoming sixth studio album “Heart & Soul”, which is set to be released on September 9, 2022.
It was written by Anne Judith Wik, Antony Costa, Ronny Svendsen and Lee Ryan. Produced by Hugh Goldsmith.
The accompanying music video was directed by Jackson Ducass.
Lee Ryan told Celebmix about song, “I can clearly remember the day I first heard this song, and I was instantly blown away by it! I was in the studio working on some other tracks for the album when Anthony came bursting in, and was like 'bruv, I've written a banger!' As soon as he started playing it for me I got goosebumps, and I knew immediately it had to be our first single!”
- Simon Webbe added, “At that point in time, there were a couple of other songs in the running for what we thought could potentially be the first single, but once we heard 'Haven't Found You Yet' we were all in agreement that it was the perfect song to launch this new era of Blue. And I've gotta say, Anthony has knocked it out of the park! He really set the bar high with this one, to the point where it made us go back and reassess everything we'd written for the album so far, and pretty much scrap all of it and start again.”
The new album “Heart & Soul” comprises 10-track. It is their first album in seven years.
Blue embarks on “Heart & Soul Tour 2022” in the UK. The tour kicks off at Cardiff Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff on December 4, 2022.
