New York City-based singer-songwriter Carly Shea released her first single of 2022 called “Brush It Off” on May 6, 2022.
The song follows up “Hold On To Me”, which was last October.
It's a carefree anthem about letting go and feeling light in the face of tumultuous times.
The track was written by Carly Shea. Produced by Aurelien Merz.
Carly Shea said of the song, “On Brush It Off, I wanted to write a song that is the opposite of how I've been feeling; the small problems we fixate on and the bigger existential questions— at some point it becomes too much and you need to exhale.
