Rozie Ramati and Alé Araya Team Up for New Song “Orange Juice”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriters Rozie Ramati and Alé Araya teamed up to release a new song “Orange Juice” on April 8, 2022.
The track was written by Rozie Ramati and Alé Araya. Produced by Rozie Ramati, Max Vossberg and Alé Araya.
Rozie Ramati said, “The process of making Orange Juice was healing and cathartic for both of us. As a result, the lyrical narrative is about connecting to and loving your inner child. really it's about being good to anyone though, whether that's yourself, your friend, your lover, your parents, even your own kid. & we really want its healing nature to be felt when others listen.”
Alé Araya said, “The idea came together while we were working on our sample pack at KOGO for a while. We didn't think much of it until we re-listened a couple weeks later & realised how beautiful the instrumental was so we considered making it into a song, but that idea wasn't actualized until Rozie's Tik-Tok about it accidentally blew up.”- Rozie Ramati and Alé Araya grew up in Los Angeles. Alé Araya spent most of her middle and high school years playing in jazz bands, writing songs, and designing clothes. In 2021, she released the collaborative song “Cherry Cola” with aisu and YARYN.
Rozie Ramati is a self-taught songwriter who began making music on her ukelele before learning keys and digital production.
