Aiyana-Lee Releases Debut EP “WEDNESDAY'S CHILD (SIDE A)”: Streaming
Los Angeles-based British R&B-pop singer-songwriter Aiyana-Lee Anderson, aka Aiyana-Lee released her debut EP “WEDNESDAY'S CHILD (SIDE A)” on February 11, 2022 via HITCO.
The EP comprises 7-track, produced by Neff-U, Sebastian Kole, Nathalia Marshall, and Nicole Daciana Anderson.
The EP will lead into her forthcoming full-length album “WEDNESDAY'S CHILD”, which is expected to be released later this year.
Aiyana-Lee said of the EP, “WEDNESDAY'S CHILD takes its name from a popular nursery rhyme that predicts a child's character based on their day of birth. It says, 'Wednesday's child is full of woe.' Although I wasn't born on a Wednesday, I believe we are all Wednesday's Child. We're all dealt a tough hand in life, no matter who we are. Going through troubled times and being an outcast, feeling like the world is out to get you, is something we can all relate to.”- Also, she shared on social media, “This is a project that's deeply personal and vulnerable for me. I talk about some intensely raw emotional experiences and explore diverse sounds sonically. I don't think it's what anyone expects. I could go on and on about this project but instead, I'll let the music speak. I hope through me sharing my story, you'll find a piece of yours mirroring back.”
Aiyana-Lee Anderson grew up surrounded by music. Her uncle is David Ruffin of The Temptations, and her grandfather is famed American soul singer Jimmy Ruffin.
She moved to Los Angeles from London with her mother at the age of 15 to further pursue her music career. Then, she signed to HITCO. - source : Apple Music
