London-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Flo Gallop released a new song “sorry for you, mate” on January 28, 2028.
The song draws the demise of a relationship and focuses on celebrating the loss of a negative person in your life, rather than mourning it.
The track follows up “Up”, which was released last July. It was co-written and produced by Flo Gallop and Patch Boshell.
Flo Gallop shared on social media, “Co-written and produced by Patch Boshell !!! We wanted energy and sass but also to maintain the sad and painful side of the lyrics through the vocal. It’s got every part of my sound in there. Recording a song is always such a journey. This particular song was ripped apart and put together multiple times but I’m so happy it ended up here.”
She said, “I hope the music inspires people to dance and be happy when they’re listening to it. If something is not quite right in their lives or as good as it could be, maybe something as simple as one of my lyrics might inspire them to change it. That would be amazing!”- source : Apple Music
