  • Pale Waves Performs “Change” at The Pool

  • British alt-pop band Pale Waves performed “Change” at The Pool.

The song is included on their sophomore album “Who Am I?”, which was released back in February.
It was written by Heather Baron-Gracie and Sam de Jong.
The song received its first play during BBC Radio 1's Hottest Track in The World last November.
Frontwoman Heather Baron-Graci told Apple Music about the song, “I didn't really know this was going to be the opener at all, but most people around me in my life did, and I felt like, 'OK, maybe I should listen to other people for once.' I had the majority of the album written and I realized I didn't have a song about heartbreak. Personally, I feel like I've never truly been completely heartbroken, so I channeled two emotions. I channeled frustration from my life and being disappointed and frustrated with people in general and having high expectations of them and them never delivering. Then I spoke to people in my life about their experiences of being heartbroken. I combined the two and that's how it came about.”
The album reached No. 3 on the UK Albums chart.
The band embarks on the UK and Ireland tour in 2022 in support of the album. The tour kicks off at O2 Academy in Bristol on February 11, 2022.
