Guns N' Roses Releases New Song “Hard Skool”
- Back in August, American hard rock band Guns N' Roses released the single “ABSUЯD”, the first single of new music released since the 2008 sixth studio album “Chinese Democracy”.
Following the song, the band released a new song “Hard Skool” on September 24, 2021.
Both songs of “ABSUЯD” and “Hard Skool” are reworks of the unreleased songs recorded for the Chinese Democracy sessions.
At that time, “Hard Skool” was originally recorded under the title “Jackie Chan”.
Also, the two singles are the first music since guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan reunited with frontman Axl Rose.
“I’ve heard some magnificent stuff that Axl has – really cool stuff he'd been working on,” Duff McKagan said. “So I'm excited about the possibilities with that, of course.”
He continued, “I don't mean to get anybody rabid. A new Guns N’ Roses album will happen when it happens, that's for sure.”
The band is currently touring US arenas once more as part of their Guns N' Roses 2020 Tour.
Also, the tour is scheduled to hit Europe in June and July 2022.
