Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Olivia O'Brien released her third EP “The Results Of My Poor Judgement” on February 7th.
The EP forms part of a project O'Brien describes as “micro mixtapes”.
She wrote 15 songs for her new project and released the first micro mixtape “It Was A Sad Fucking Summer” last November. The new micro mixtape is comprises of three songs.
Olivia O'Brien said, “I always felt a lot of pressure in trying to make a larger cohesive project like an album, because I am inspired by a lot of different types of music and constantly growing/changing in my life as well as my sound. It’s also a quicker process to not have to wait until 10 to 15 songs are perfectly finished in order to release them.”
She will embark on “It Was A Sad F**king Tour” along with Hey Violet, drumaq in February and March. The tour kicks off at The Catalyst Club in Santa Cruz on February 25th.
