Eminem Releases New Album “Music to Be Murdered By”: Streaming
American rapper Eminem released his eleventh studio album “Music to Be Murdered By” on January 17th alongside the music video for “Darkness” directed by James Larese.
The album follows up the 2018 album “Kamikaze” and features guest appearances from Ed Sheeran, Black Thought, Q-Tip, Royce Da 5’9″, Anderson .Paak, Young M.A., and Juice WRLD, who died on last December 8th.
The album was inspired by filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock's 1958 “Music to Be Murdered By”, which is reflected in the LP title and photo used in the album art. In one interlude, Hitchcock’s voice can be heard explaining the premise: “This was meant for your listening pleasure—while you are being done in.”
The video “Darkness” draws the 2017 Route 91 Harvest music festival shooting in Las Vegas, where a gunman opened fire from his hotel room and killed 58 people before killing himself.
The clip shows the message with the ending, “When will this end? When enough people care. Register to vote at Vote.gov. Make your voice heard and help change gun laws in America.” Then the video displays new website with information and links to various anti-gun-violence organizations.- source : Rolling Stone
