Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette announced her ninth studio album “Such Pretty Forks in the Road” will be released on May 1, 2020. It is her first LP in eight years.
From the album, she has unveiled a first single “Reasons I Drink”.
She will be performing the single live on television for the first time on Thursday (December 3rd) on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
She had written 23 new songs for the album including "Rest", "Reckoning", "Diagnosis", "Her", "Legacy" and “Reasons I Drink”.
Also, she contributed two new songs "Smiling" and "Predator" to the Jagged Little Pill musical. “Smiling” will appear on the new album.
Alanis Morissette will embark on a headline tour in June 2020. The tour kicks off at Sunlight Supply Amphitheater in Portland on June 2, 2002 and will run through July 25th with a final show in Nashville, Tennessee.
