British R&B singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé released her third album “Real LifeE” on September 13th for the first time in three years.
The 11-track album was preceded by four singles "Starlight", "Sparrow", "Extraordinary Being", "Shine" and ""You Are Not Alone".
She co-wrote all tracks with Troy Miller, who also produced the album.
She focused on to give people hope and confidence on the album. “Especially people who have been marginalised, forgotten or kicked down by this invisible oppression that’s always there," Emeli Sandé said of the album. “I just want to give people this incredible superpower every time they play the album. Like a battery pack – by the end of the album they’re going to feel restored.”
She added, “I feel grounded. “With this album, I knew exactly what I wanted to say and do. I’ve came out the other side more confident, happier with more self-love.”
Emeli Sandé launched a headline tour in support of the album at Hyde Park in London on September 15th. The tour will conclude at Bonus Arena, Hull in Kingston upon Hull on December 13th.
