American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande appeared on the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, where she performed “R.E.M.” and “Them Changes”.
“R.E.M.” is included on her fourth studio album "Sweetener", which was released on August 17, 2018. It was written and produced by Pharrell Williams.
The song is based on Beyoncé’s demo titled “Wake Up”, a leftover from the singer’s 2013 self-titled album "Beyoncé".
“Them Changes” was released by American multi-genre bass guitarist Stephen Lee Bruner, aka Thundercat in 2015.
The song is included his 2015's EP "The Beyond / Where the Giants Roam".
