Irish electro-pop band ELM is back. The band premiered their new song “Feels Like” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Tom Grennan.
The song is their first music in a year and a half since “Golden”.
ELM shared on social media, “We wanted to fill u in a little on what this track is really all about. As some of you may know, just before the panny-d we jumped seas and landed in London. It was genuinely one of the most exciting times of our lives before the world fell to pieces. We had a long list of gigs scheduled, had just come off tour with the icon Brooke Candy and had major plans to take over zeeee world to find out our journey was brought to a halt. Like, yeah it was pretty awful. Everything we worked for just slipped away within weeks of arriving in this new city. We tried everything to keep the oul' spirits high, but being so far away from our loved ones, we felt so out of control of what was our whole lives 🥀🥀”
The band continued, “✨Feels Like ✨🙂😘😘 encapsulates that fear of losing grip of something beautiful, mashed in with a heavy kick drum and sxc synths for the dancefloor. I hope u love this sad banger like we do, let this new era commence 🫀✨🫀”- source : BBC Radio 1
