British music producer Fred Gibson, aka Fred again.. premiered a new song “Clara (the night is dark)” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The song is the last promotional single off of his upcoming third studio album “Actual Life 3 (January 1 – September 9, 2022)”.
He first performed the song at the end of his Boiler Room London set.
The vocals of the track sampled from Clara Ward's 1994 rendition of the hymn “The Storm Is Passing Over”.
The track was written by Clara Ward Singers, Fred Gibson, Giampaolo Parisi, and Marco Parisi. Produced by Fred again.. and PARISI.
Fred again.. told Clara Amfo about the song, “This is the last one we're putting out before the full album tomorrow, I guess. Well, I'm sure you'll be happy to be in the company of the legendary Clara Ward Singers, that iconic gospel truth. But yeah, this is just like, I don't know, it's probably it's the last little record I finished for the album and then it's also the last one we're putting out before we do that and it's also the last song. The new album is set to be released on October 28, 2022 and is the third installment of his Actual Life series; the first two were released in 2021.
The album comprises 13-track, featuring guest appeance from Henry Wu.
