Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ London Grammar Releases New Song “America”
British alt-pop band London Grammar released a new song “America” from their upcoming third studio album “Californian Soil”.
The track is the fifth single off, following “Baby It's You”, “Californian Soil”, “Lose Your Head” and “How Does It Feel”.
It was written by Hannah Reid, Dot Major and Daniel Rothman.
Frontwonman Hannah Reid shared on social media, “This song is about my journey letting go of the past and learning how to write music after a difficult time with my health. I use the idea of the American dream to wave goodbye to things I didn't need anymore 💗🌸💗”
The new album is set to be released on April 16th.
Also, the band announced 2022 Australia and New Zealand tour dates. The tour kicks off at Belvoir Amphitheatre in Perth on February 19, 2022.
She said, “I don't miss the anxiety [of performing], but I really miss seeing our fans. Whenever we play live there are people in the front row who'll come to ten gigs in a row and they just love live music so much.”
