American singer-songwriter Emma Ogier released her debut song “First Base” on June 30, 2023.
Packed with heartfelt lyricism that openly explores anxiety, insecurity, and the fear of rejection, the song speaks to the frustration of feeling stuck in a surface level relationship that’s not moving forward.
The track was written by Emma Ogier, and Doug Schadt who also produced it.
The accompanying music video was directed by Reed Schick, starring Emma Ogier and Brant Rothbauer.
