Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Jaguero Releases New Song “Negative, Awesome!”
- Italian punk rock band Jaguero, consisting of Andrea Cichellero (guitar), Guido Dal Prà (bass), Matteo Marangoni (guitar) and Andrea Campesato Segnini (drums), released a new song “Negative, Awesome!” on March 25, 2022.
The song is the second single off of their upcoming debut EP, following “Mild Safari”.
It was written by Jaguero and produced by Maurizio Baggio at La Distilleria in Bassano del Grappa.
The band said of the song, “'Negative, Awesome!' deals with the concept of balance: every day, we all face our commitments, our hobbies, our jobs, pretending that everything is ok and that this routine is fine for us. In reality, this is consuming us slowly, and we are so absorbed by this process that we are not able to wake up and realize it.”
They continued, It's okay to accept also the negative parts of ourselves, because they perfectly co-exists with the positive ones. This is just who we are: a complex spectrum that goes from a bright side to a darker one.”
