Billie Eilish Performs “Happier Than Ever” & “Male Fantasy” on Saturday Night Live
American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish appeared on Saturday Night Live to perform “Happier Than Ever” and “Male Fantasy” along with FINNEAS.
This marks the second time she has been the musical performer on the sketch show.
Both songs are included on her latest album “Happier Than Ever”, which was released back in July.
Billie Eilish said of “Happier Than Ever”, “'Happier Than Ever,' probably the most therapeutic song I've ever written or recorded, like ever, ever, ever 'cause I just screamed my lungs out and could barely talk afterwards, which was very satisfying to me somehow. I had wanted to get those screams out for a very long time and it was very nice to.”
She said of “Male Fantasy”, “'Male Fantasy' is really a hopeless realization and a horrible thing. It's terrible to feel something that you don't want to feel. 'Happier Than Ever' was actually gonna close the album and then we wrote 'Male Fantasy' and it actually felt better to close it with that.
