Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Little Big Town Premieres New Music Video for “Rocket Man”
Back in April, American country music band Little Big Town joined in "Restoration: Reimagining the Songs of Elton John and Bernie Taupin", where the band covered “Rocket Man”. The band released a music video for the song on May 29.
Restoration: Reimagining the Songs of Elton John and Bernie Taupin" is a half of two tribute albums to Elton John, featuring covers by country music artists, such as Little Big Town, Willie Nelson, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Don Henley and Dolly Parton, among othres.
Another one is "Revamp: Reimagining the Songs of Elton John & Bernie Taupin" covered by pop, rock and R&B artists, the likes of Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Pink, Sam Smith, The Killers and Miley Cyrus, among others.
Both album were released on April 6, 2018.
“Rocket Man” was released from John's fifth studio album "Honky Château" in 1972. The song reached number two on the UK Singles Chart and number six on the US Singles Chart.- Elton John said of the both albums;

As songwriters, Bernie and myself are thrilled when singers we admire and respect as much as those on Revamp & Restoration choose to add their own unique twist in the process. Little Big Town will release a new song "Summer Fever" on June 6. The track, co-written by Fairchild, Jesse Frasure, Cary Barlowe and Sam Romans, features Fairchild on lead vocals and encapsulates the spirit of summertime with an infectious melody and nostalgic guitar tones set against the group's famous four-part harmonies. "Summer Fever" was co-produced by Frasure and Shane McAnally and mixed by Spike Stent in Los Angeles. - source : Billboard
