Mimoza Returns With New Song “Young Queen”
- Los Angeles-based Kosovo singer-songwriter Mimoza returned with a new song “Young Queen”. It is her first single in three years.
The track is a personal record written as a love letter to her home country, Kosovo, and her Albanian roots. Paying tribute to her mother and all moms who raise their daughters to see themselves as 'young queens'.
Mimoza shared on social media, “Happy Independence Day Kosovo!!! This record is my love letter to Kosovo, the place that made me & raised me. ❤️ I dedicate this record to my amazing mother & all mothers who raise their daughters to see themselves as young queens. 👑”
The track was written by Mimoza, Clifford Goilo and Hillary Bernstein. The accompanying music video was directed by Mimoza herself.
Mimoza said of the song, “My mom raised me with incredible values that have helped me walk through life with my head held high.” The empowering song is about pride, self-love, and a celebration of knowing who you are and loving yourself unconditionally. She continues, “I believe that when you know who you are and where you came from, you can never get lost in life.”
Also, Mimoza is better known for co-writing Ava Max's 2020 smash hit “Kings & Queens”.
