American rock band Evanescence announced their fifth studio album “The Bitter Truth” will be released on March 26, 2020. It is available to pre-order on December 4th.
From the album, the band released a new song “Yeah Right” as the fourth single on December 4th, following “Wasted on You”, “The Game Is Over” and “Use My Voice”. It was written by Amy Lee and Will Hunt. Produced by Nick Raskulinecz.
The new album is their first LP in four years. The band started to create the album in 2019. But while the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, the band has been working with remotely at Rock Falcon Studios in Nashville, TN.
“I'm not going to rush. I'm just trying to live in the moment, feeding my soul with the music,” frontwoman Amy Lee told Rolling Stone. “The energy was just amped. We were in there on fire. Now, the guys are back at their homes, and I am wading through the aftermath of all the music, piecing it together and finalizing the record. The upside of this time is that I've had to buckle down and focus. Even on the days that I don't want to, I come out here and I go, 'Let's do this. Let's finish the album.'”
The band will perform a livestream concert at Rock Falcon studio as Evanescence: A Live Session From Rock Falcon Studio on December 5th.- source : Spotify
