Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Texas Premieres New Song “Tell That Girl” on BBC Radio 2
Scottish pop rock band Texas premiered a new song "Tell That Girl". The song received its first play during BBC Radio 2 on March 28.
The track is taken from their upcoming 9th studio album "Jump on Board", which is due out on April 21. The new album, it's been in four years since their last album "The Conversation".
The band has already released the first single "Let's Work It Out" from the album, the music video was premiered in February.
Texas was formed in 1986, currently consisting of Sharleen Spiteri (vocals, guitar), Ally McErlaine (guitar), Johnny McElhone (bass), Eddie Campbel (keyboards), Tony McGovern (vocals, guitar), Michael Bannister (keyboards) and Ross McFarlane (drums).
They took their name from the 1984 Wim Wenders movie "Paris, Texas".
Texas's projected sales had accumulated to 35 million records to date, as well as scoring thirteen UK top ten singles, three UK number one albums and seven UK top ten albums.-
