American rapper and singer-songwriter Machine Gun Kelly (mgk) released a new song “dont let me go” on February 21, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to “PRESSURE”, which was released last May.
On the track, he returned to the rap side. It was written by Brandon Allen, Colson Baker, and Steve Basil. Produced by SlimXX, BazeXX, and mgk. The accompanying music video was directed by Sam Cahill.
The track references his past, his shortcomings, his mental health, his relationship with his late father and the miscarriage suffered by his fiancée, Megan Fox.
He sings, “How can I live with the fact that my hand wasn't on her stomach when we lost the baby?”
Megan Fox said in an interview on Good Morning America, “I’ve never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately...trying to navigate, 'What does this mean?' and 'Why did this happen?'”- source : Apple Music
