  • Pop Evil Drops New Music Video for “Skeletons”

  • Back in March, American rock band Pop Evil, consisting of Leigh Kakaty (lead vocals), Dave Grahs (rhythm guitar), Nick Fuelling (lead guitar), Hayley Cramer (drums) and Joey 'Chicago' Walser (bass), released their seventh studio album “Skeletons”.

It is their first album in two years since the 2021 album “Versatile”.
From the album, the band has dropped a new music video for the title track directed by Johan Carlén.
The track was written by Leigh Kakaty, Drew Fulk, Josh Strock and Dave Bassett. Produced by Drew Fulk.
The band frontman Leigh Kakaty said of the video, “Sometimes the little things in life come with the hardest challenges to overcome. It was awesome to team up with our long-time friend and director, Johan Carlén, to tell this tale of one man's determination; to risk it all in a world that is constantly coming after him. With so much chaos in the world today, we feel it is important now, more than ever, to remember we are only human.”

The new album comprises 11-track, featuring guest appearances from Devour the Day, Fit for a King and Zillion. Produced by Drew Fulk and George Cappellini Jr.
Leigh Kakaty said of the album,“This is about us as a band stripping everything down to the bones. It's more uptempo, it's got bigger riffs, and we're trying to capture the energy of our live show.”
He continued, “But it's also a positive message. I know it's a morbid visual, but behind every skeleton, there's a story and something worth talking about. Overall, it's about looking at something in a positive way.”
