Payson Lewis Releases New Song “Blurrier”
Back in June, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Payson Lewis released the 6-track EP “retrospection (19:30)” for the first time in five years.
Following the EP, he released a new song “Blurrier” on August 11, 2023.
The song is the first single off of his upcoming debut album “Sorry To Keep You Up”, which is expected to be released in 2023.
The track was written by Payson Lewis and Brooke Jenkins. Produced by Ben Soldate.
The song captures the essence of Payson Lewis' reflective adventure, as he navigates the intricacies of his time in the lively city of Los Angeles and ponders on the dreams that initially led him there.
Payson Lewis explained, “We are all so hyperfocused on our own status and achievements, often at the cost of our own intrinsic human value.”
He shared on social media, “The first single off my new album is out, it's called 'Blurrier' and I'm friggin stokked!!! I've been working on this album for over FOUR years. So many incredible people have contributed their time and talent to make this music possible. I would make me so happy and be a testament to everyone's hard work, if you could take a minute to give it a listen (and maybe add it to playlist) Thank you. I love you and happy listening.”
