SG Lewis Teams Up With Rhye for New Song “Time”
British singer-songwriter SG Lewis announced his long-awaited debut album “Time” will be released on February 19, 2021.
He teamed up with Los Angeles-based Canadian musical project Rhye to release the album title track on December 8th.
This marks the first collaboration between SG Lewis and Rhye. The track is third single off of the album, following “Impact” featuring Robyn and Channel Tres, and “Feed The Fire” featuring Lucky Daye.
It was written by Franne Golde, Duane Hitchings, Dennis Lambert, Milosh, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Julian Bunetta and SG Lewis.
SG Lewis shared on social media, “Time is a song that is central to the album thematically and sonically. Rhye has one of the most unique and distinctive voices out there, and I’ve been a fan for so long. We wrote the song at Rhye’s studio after watching the sun set in Topanga canyon, a memory which makes this song even more special to me. The beat initially started from a piano loop and a Dennis Edwards sample TEED had started working on with Julian, which I then turned into the instrumental late one night in Nashville.”- source : The Line Of Best Fit
