Lennon Stella Performs “Like Everybody Else” on Sofar New York
Sofar Sounds has teamed up with Hyatt Centric to support emerging artists through a series of eight secret concerts across the globe.
This time, Sofar Sounds features Nashville-based Canadian singer-songwriter Lennon Stella in New York City.
She performed “Like Everybody Else” with acoustic guitar. The original version of the song was released back in August and she played it with piano. It was written by Eg White, Erin McCarley and Lennon Stella.
She said of the inspiration behind the track, “For any young teenage girl, it just gets so hard to feel unique. There are so many options in front of your face all the time. Being young and trying to find your way and having a world full of people doing exactly what you want to do… there’s so much [to compare yourself to] all the time.”
After the release of the song, she debuted the first solo EP “Love, me” in November. Alos, she joined in British EDM DJ Jonas Blue's new song "Polaroid" along with former One Direction Liam Payne in October.- nLVDQvL5OqU
