Dodie Premieres New Music Video for “Monster”
British singer-songwriter Dodie Clark, aka Dodie released her third EP "Human" on January 18, 2019. It is her first EP in two years.
From the EP, she has shared a new music video for “Monster”, directed by PJ Liguori. The video was premiered exclusively on Billboard.
”I wrote Monster very visually,” Dodie told Billboard. “I had a specific scene in my mind from the time I sat opposite someone who I had angered. I remembered realising that the longer he looked at me, the more hate I would feel from him, as if I was turning into something scary and monstrous in front of his very eyes.”
She continued, “As difficult as it was at the time, I liked describing and writing it from a lighter side. Working with [director PJ Ligouri] for the video was perfect as I knew his style could match the quirky, playful style of the song.”
Dodie will embark on a headline tour in support of the new EP in Europe, the UK and North America. The tour kicks off at Trabendo in France on February 11, 2019.
